1. Natural Skin Moisturizer
Using coconut oil for skin health works well as a moisturizer for your face. It absorbs quickly and is non-greasy. At room temperature, coconut is a solid, but it quickly melts when it comes into contact with hands. Before bed, wash your face, and pat dry. Warm a dollop the size of a pea in your hands and rub in a circular motion into your face. Let sit for 5 minutes, and then wipe off what is still on the surface.
2. Wrinkle Reducer
For areas of concern around eyes, dab just a touch around the eyes to help fight pre-maturing aging. Leave the oil on overnight to soak in, and wake up looking refreshed. Combine with frankincense oil for additional anti-aging benefits.
3. Digestive Help
Coconut oil’s concentration of beneficial fats in coconut oil makes it helpful for digestion. Its antimicrobial properties can help fight irritation and infection in the gut from Candida.
4. Great Source of Healthy Fats
Over 50% of the fat in coconut oil is lauric acid. In fact, coconut oil is the richest source of lauric acid after breastmilk.Shaving Lotion – Close shave and a moisturizer at the same time.
5. Facial Scrub
Combine coconut oil with Himalayan crystal salt and apply to face each night. Washing it off is optional.
6. Prevent acne
If you are a sufferer of acne at any age, you probably think that applying oil is completely counterintuitive. Why would you want to make your skin greasier? It doesn’t really work that way, though. Oftentimes, you suffer from acne not because your skin is greasy, but because your skin is too dry. This causes an overproduction of your natural skin oils to try and compensate. Moisturize with the coconut oil and your body won’t feel the need to overcompensate.
7. Get rid of puffiness around your eyes
Puffiness around your eyes can make you look tired and old. For a fresh, youthful appearance, apply a small amount of coconut around your eyes before you go to sleep (you can even put it safely on your eyelids). When you wake up in the morning, you should see a reduction in the puffiness.
